Dig it is family owned and operated. Owners Susie Payne (mom) Kari Arcand (daughter) and Jeannie Armstrong (daughter) with their husbands and children both big and little all take part in the daily operations and dog care. Thanksgiving dinner at the kennel has become a new family tradition. Pictures with Santa and Christmas morning goodies has also become a big Dig It Family event. We have decades of "dog" experience that included owning, breeding, showing and training AKC Champion dogs. Jeannie has been involved in showing for 20 years and has bred many AKC Champions. You can view her personal website Jakona Hounds. Rescue work has also been a big part of our lives and has included both purebred and mutt. Kari currently has two rescue Boston Terriers and a rescue Border Collie in her home. Our love for dogs does not stop just because they don't have a pedigree! In the past two years Dig It has been involved in more then 10 rescues, housing 7 in the kennel at once. We keep 2 kennels open for rescue needs. updated June 4, 2010.
